California Naturalist Resources
- Here’s a link to the California Naturalist Publication Series ~ http://calnat.ucanr.edu/Resources/calnat_pubs/ The new UCANR publication series is designed to complement the California Naturalist curriculum by presenting more detailed information on the environment, natural history, and natural resource management of each of California’s bioregions. The bioregion publications describe the history, geology, watersheds/rivers, plant communities, animals, management and environmental issues of the region in greater depth than could be covered in the California Naturalist Handbook, which tackles the entire state. This series will also include overviews of specific topics to help sharpen your scientific understanding of California’s ecosystems and environmental stewardship. The first publication in the series is “Natural History of the Sierra Nevada.”
